SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – March 1, 2021 – After two wildly successful in-person events in 2021, Eyecelerator launches its 2022 live program season with a new conference as innovative and ambitious as the ophthalmic community it serves. The event will take place at the Renaissance Washington DC Downtown Hotel on Thursday, April 21, one day before the annual meeting the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ASCRS).
"ASCRS is pleased to partner with the American Academy of Ophthalmology to foster innovation and collaboration between the physicians we serve and the entrepreneurs, executive decision makers, and investors who produce so many amazing advancements in our field," said Steve Speares, executive director of ASCRS.
The Eyecelerator program committee, led by Program co-chairs John Berdahl, MD, and Eric Donnenfeld, MD, along with Program Director Gil Kliman, MD, is curating a full day of insightful panels and novel company showcases that spotlight emerging opportunities and bring the future of ophthalmology into focus.
